我們先通過三個對話來學習問路與指路的基本句型。最後大家可以通過一個小測驗來檢查掌握情況。
對話1：
Tim:Excuse me.
勞駕（對不起，麻煩問一下）。
Mei: Yes?
什麽?
Tim:How do I get to the Sanlitun, please?
我怎麽去三裏屯？
Mei:It’s not far. Go straight on then turn right at the end of the road.
離這兒不遠，一直往前走，走到頭兒向右拐。
Tim:Thanks.
謝謝。
Mei:You’re welcome.

對話2：
Paul:Excuse me, can you tell me the way to the Forbidden City, please?

請注意：
如果你不知dao(道)某地在何處，就可以直接告訴對方：
I am sorry, I don’t know. 对不起，我不知道。
或者在路比較遠的情況下，你可以建議問路者乘坐公共汽車、出租車或地鐵:
You need to take a bus. 你需要坐公共汽车。
You need to take the metro. 你需要zuo(坐)地铁。
You need to take a taxi. 你需要坐出租车。
